"Dear Soldier - Die!"

Dear Soldier,

Have a great time in the war.

And have a great time dieing in the war.

From,

Miguel Gallier

P.S. Die

Pretty vile, don't you think? You know what makes that worse? That it was written by a child as a "Get Well Card" and sent to a recovering soldier, Joshua Sparling, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Don't bother getting angry. Instead use that energy to drown this ugly message out. Raven at And Rightly So! suggests that we buy some packs of Get Well cards or holiday cards and send get them to the wounded soldiers:

Lisa of Two Babes and a Brain is the original source of the story.

Michelle Malkin has an image of the actual card along with other recommendations on how to support the troops.

I wonder if it was really a child's card or an adult posing as a child to increase the chances of getting to a soldier and maximize the pain inflicted.

Either way, it is really disgusting.

Thank you for the suggestions!!!
