Cotillion remembers...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

One day five years ago, 2996 people woke up in the morning, expecting another ordinary day... They didn't ask to become victims or heroes. They were just people, like you and I. But at the end of that day they only lived on in the memories of their loved ones and the collective memory of a nation who vowed "never to forget." Here are some of the people who members of Cotillion were honored to give tribute:

Great round-up Jody! Doing the pictures like that is excellent, and took a lot more work for you!

Thanks for doing this.

That was wonderful and touching. I'm so glad I found my way to your blog. Great job honoring these people. My tribute to Vincent Litto is up. It has been amazing learning about each of these everyday heroes. What a great way to spend 9/11.

OH wow, this is so special Jody. First class in every way. You did a lot of work and it shows, thank you sooooo much.

What a huge honor it is to be a part of the Cotillion. I am so very grateful to be in the company of the most fantastic women. Thank you my wonderful friends for being YOU!

I love the way you had the photos with links to the blogs that highlighted each. Great job.

Thank you for your contribution to the memorials. So many people were killed that sometimes, for me who did not lose a single friend, they run together. The tributes have helped make them individuals again. They are no longer the 9/11 victims, but Kevin and Michael and Raymond...

I remember Laura Gilly.
