Carol (I use my real first name) However, I fully intend to do an anonymous blog one of these days so I don't have to worry about shocking my mother or being a bad influence on the young. Considering I don't have time to keep up with the three blogs I already have, I'm not sure that'll ever happen.

I like to write and I enjoy having other people read what I've written

I enjoy cooking - so I post a lot of recipes
I also get into politics occasionally - and reality shows (but WAIT - aren't those the same thing?)
I'm a teacher, and so I write about kids and school

About two years (reading blogs)
About a year and a half (blogging)
6. #1 pet peeve of bloggers?
Not enough time to spend on my blog. Actually that is a plus because I have a life outside of blogging. However, I wish I could spend more time in order to write better quality posts
7. how do you deal with trolls?
Depends on my mood.
8. best advice to someone who wants to start a blog?
Jump right in and do it. Writing about what's important to you can be cathartic. It can also be habit-forming.
9. best advice to parent for internet safety for children?
Monitor your kids.
10. where do you see blogging 5 years from now?
There will probably be college classes on it - kids will start in first grade - programs will be more user-friendly
